Printed on cream-white paper, a geometric shape with six arms radiating symmetrically and equally from the center form a star-like pattern in this almost square color lithograph. Six V-shaped wedges printed in a single color each meet to make the arms like a piece of paper folded and cut into a snowflake. Moving clockwise around the star the wedges are olive green at noon, taupe from one to three o’clock, burnt orange and then slate blue at six. The olive green repeats from seven to nine o’clock and next is fuchsia pink. Each wedge is lined with nested white Vs. The artist signed the lower right corner of the paper with graphite, “AP VI F. Stella ’67.”
