Provenance

Choiseul-Praslin family, Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Maurice Kann [1839-1906], Paris; purchased 1908 with the entire Kann collection by (Duveen Brothers, Inc., London, New York, and Paris). (Wildenstein and Co., New York); sold June 1949 to the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, New York;[1] gift 1952 to NGA.
