This throwback Thursday revisits the 1940s when the National Gallery of Art first opened. Listen to the Tia Fuller Trio, led by the dynamic saxophonist Tia Fuller, whose mode of expression embraces both the classic and contemporary sounds of jazz. Throughout the evening, short pop-up talks with curators and educators will present art from the 1940s in historical context.
