Art Tales is a tour designed for our youngest learners. This tour includes the reading of Ish by Peter H. Reynolds, exploration of two works of modern art, and an art-making experience.

Looking and Learning Skills

During the Art Tales: Ish tour, students will explore modern works of art to discover how some artists creatively and imaginatively portray the world around them. On this tour, students:
• Become familiar with a museum setting.
• Observe, describe, compare, and contrast works of art.
• Create a sculpture.

Important Information

Requests for winter/spring tours (January 9–June 2, 2017) will begin on December 1 and run through May 5, 2017.

Tours must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance. Groups must contain at least 15 students.

Once your tour has been scheduled, you will receive a confirmation letter via mail in 10 business days (14 days for Spanish-language tours).
