Title I Bus Fund Application
Funding for the cost of bus transportation is available for Title I schools that participate in docent-led school tours at the National Gallery of Art. Teachers should follow the guidelines below to apply for bus funding. For more information, please contact Deirdre Palmer at email@example.com or (202) 842-6880.
- The Gallery will reimburse your school up to $500 in bus transportation costs for students and accompanying adults from the school to the Gallery.
- Your school is responsible for arranging and paying for this transportation, and the Gallery will not be liable for any injury or damages arising out of such transportation.
- The school is responsible for sending an invoice to the National Gallery of Art in order to receive payment. Invoices must be sent to Deirdre Palmer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submission of this application does not guarantee funding. Notification of awards will be given via e-mail.
Requests for winter/spring tours (January 9–June 2, 2017) will begin on December 1 and run through May 5, 2017.
Tours must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance. Groups must contain at least 15 students.
Once your tour has been scheduled, you will receive a confirmation letter via mail in 10 business days (14 days for Spanish-language tours).
