Overview: 85 miniatures from 12 lenders and anonymous sources were assembled by Stuart Cary Welch, curator of Muslim and Hindu painting at the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard Unversity.

Organization: Gaillard Ravenel and Mark Leithauser designed the exhibition and Gordon Anson designed the lighting for the National Gallery.

Sponsor: The exhibition was supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, John Goelet, and an indemnity from the Federal Council on the Arts and the Humanities.

Attendance: 96,131
