Overview: A retrospective exhibition of 99 works by Juan Gris was organized by the University of California Art Museum at Berkeley.
Organization: Mark Rosenthal of the Philadelphia Museum of Art was the guest curator. Additional loans were coordinated by E.A. Carmean Jr. Gaillard Ravenel and Mark Leithauser designed the exhibition and Gordon Anson designed the lighting for the National Gallery.
Sponsor: The exhibition was supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Paul L. and Phyllis J. Wattis Foundation, and the University Art Museum Council. An indemnity was provided by the Federal Council on the Arts and the Humanities.
