Overview: 85 examples were chosen from the 17,000 renderings of American decorative arts, to illustrate the breadth of this federal work project. The exhibition was arranged in 4 geographical areas.

Organization: Laurie Weitzenkorn was the coordinator. This was one of a group of small exhibitions of graphics, Nineteenth-Century America on Paper: Four Exhibitions, opening at the same time.
