Colored Paper Images

December 16, 2012 – December 01, 2013

East Building Ground Level

Overview: In 1977, Ellsworth Kelly unveiled a series of molded handmade paper images that spilled beyond the crisp geometry and pristine monochromes for which he was well known. Irregular textures, pools and drifts of color, and meandering edges are celebrated in the 23 prints from the Gallery’s collection.

Organization: Organized by the National Gallery of Art, Washington.

Passes: Passes are not required for this exhibition.
