Overview: The National Gallery of Art Library’s first exhibition in the cases at the north side of the main reading room, Raphael in the Library, presented some of the more unusual material from the collection concerning Raphael. It was meant to compliment a display of Polaroid photographs of Raphael’s Transfiguration in the Study Center Lobby installed for a seminar by the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts.

Organization: The exhibition was organized by the National Gallery of Art. Lamia Doumato, reference librarian, and Roger Lawson, copy cataloger, were cocurators.
