Franklin Kelly

Prior to becoming deputy director and chief curator at the National Gallery of Art in 2008, Franklin Kelly served as the Gallery’s senior curator of American and British paintings. A leading authority on Frederic Edwin Church and Winslow Homer, Kelly has published articles and organized exhibitions on a wide range of artists from William Blake to Thomas Cole, to Charles Sheeler.
