Q: How can I renew my membership in The Circle?

A: To renew online, please supply the information on this Renew Your Membership form.

To renew by phone, please call (202) 842-6450.

To renew by mail via check or credit card, print and complete this form. If you prefer to pay by check, please make the check payable to the National Gallery of Art and mail it with your completed form to: Development Office, National Gallery of Art, 2000B South Club Drive, Landover MD 20785.

Q: Can my employer match my contribution?

A: Yes, we welcome matching gifts from a donor’s employer. To do this online using a credit card, please complete the online Employer Matching Gift form and e-mail any additional paperwork to giving@nga.gov or mail to: Development Office, National Gallery of Art, 2000B South Club Drive, Landover MD 20785.

Q: Can I buy a gift membership for a friend?

A: Yes, please complete the online Give a Gift of Membership form and indicate to whom you would like us to send a gift membership.

Q: I lost my Circle membership card and/or tax acknowledgment. May I request a replacement?

A: Of course. Please call The Circle office at (202) 842-6450 and we will be happy to replace your membership card or send you a copy of your tax acknowledgment.

Q: What portion of my Circle gift is tax deductible?

A: The amount of your membership contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the value of the contribution over the value of the benefits made available in return. The value of benefits made available is estimated to be: $1,000 for Exhibition Circle membership; $750 for Patron membership; $500 for Sustaining membership; $250 for Supporting membership; $250 for Tower Project membership; and $150 for Contributing membership.  Of course, should you choose to decline benefits altogether, the full amount of your contribution would be tax deductible.

A: Yes. By choosing to decline benefits of membership altogether, the full amount of your contribution would be tax deductible.

Q: Is it possible to reserve parking at the Gallery?

A: Circle members at the Patron Level and above may request parking on the Gallery’s plaza (24 hours notice is required). Please contact the Circle office at (202) 842-6450 or e-mail circle@nga.gov. If you need recommendations for nearby public garages or street parking, we would also be happy to help.

Q: How can I make reservations for Sunday evening concerts at the National Gallery?

A: Circle members at the Supporting Level and above receive the benefit of reserving seats at concert programs at the Gallery. To make a reservation, please contact the Circle office at (202) 842-6450 or circle@nga.gov. We kindly ask members to reserve seats no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Friday before the scheduled concert.

Q: How can I make reservations for lunch in the Gallery’s Refectory?

A: Circle members at the Sustaining Level and above have access to the Refectory for weekday lunchtime dining in the Gallery’s East Building. To make a reservation, please contact the Circle office at (202) 842-6450 or circle@nga.gov. Please note that reservations are taken for 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. only.
