This teaching resource was adapted for online use from the interactive program for the videodisc American Art from the National Gallery of Art (1994).

This program consists of ten illustrated essays, image pages, a list of featured artists, a glossary, and a bibliography containing suggested references. Images may be accessed by clicking the highlighted text in the body of each essay. As your screen size allows, pop-up windows may either be closed immediately or moved to the side.
