Venus, related works

Amorous couples amuse themselves outside a castle surrounded by water. One pair relaxes on a bridge, watching fishermen and a duck hunter at work. Another drifts by on a boat, and the young man reaches into the water for a fish. Their indolence contrasts the activity of the food-gatherers.
