Grandma Moses: Anne Mary Robertson Moses (1860-1961)

Overview: 43 paintings by the popular amateur painter Grandma Moses were shown in an exhibition coordinated by John Wilmerding and Linda Ayres. The show was organized by Otto Kallir, controller of Grandma Moses Properties, Inc., and owner of the St. Etienne Gallery in New York. The installation was in an area recently vacated by Garbisch paintings, continuing a series on the American folk art tradition.
