Sixteenth-Century Italian Maiolica from the Arthur M. Sackler Collection and the National Gallery of Art's Widener Collection

Overview: 75 examples of Tuscan maiolica represented more than 100 years of production. Included were portrait plates from Deruta and Gubbio, and istoriato from Urbino. Deborah Shinn of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, was guest curator. Gaillard Ravenel and Mark Leithauser designed the exhibition and Gordon Anson designed the lighting.
