Twentieth-Century Art: Selections for the Tenth Anniversary of the East Building

December 13, 1988-December 31, 1990

Overview: More than 200 works from the Gallery's collection of 20th-century art, with loans from private collectors, artists, and their families, were shown in this new installation. The exhibition was organized by Jack Cowart and Nan Rosenthal with Gaillard Ravenel and Mark Leithauser. It was supported by American Express Company.

Location: East Building, Tower Level, Upper Level, West Bridge, Northwest, Pod II, and Concourse (26,000 sq. ft.)
