Visitors to "The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt" May Gain Free Entry on First-Come, First-Served Basis or Opt to Get Advance Passes at Ticketmaster
Washington, DC--Visitors to The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt, at the National Gallery of Art, may gain free entry on a first-come, first-served basis every day, throughout the exhibition, June 30 through October 14, 2002. Starting Friday, June 21, people may also order advance passes for the dates of July 6 through October 14.
Advance passes will be timed on the half-hour, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m., on Sundays. The first public hour of each day will be reserved only for first-come, first-served visitors.
A maximum of six advance passes per order may be obtained at Washington area Ticketmaster locations and at Hechts stores, for a service charge of $2.50 per pass. They may also be ordered for a $2.50 service charge per pass and a $1.25 handling fee per order at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster PhoneCharge at the following numbers:

Admission to the National Gallery of Art is free of charge. The East Building is located at 4th Street and Constitution Avenue, N.W., on the National Mall. Visitors will be asked to present all bags for inspection as they enter the Gallery. Luggage or garment bag will not be permitted in either building and may not be checked.
