Print Study Rooms

The Gallery's collection of prints, drawings, and illustrated books contains almost 100,000 western European and American works on paper, dating from the twelfth century to the present day. The Gallery frequently exhibits selected works from its holdings as well as loans from other public and private collections. Please consult the Current Exhibitions schedule for information on such shows.

Works on paper not on display may be viewed and studied by appointment in the Gallery's Print Study Rooms. Single visitors as well as small groups are welcome. All visitors must comply with the Gallery's rules and requirements for viewing works of art on paper.

The Study Rooms are open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., except federal holidays.
