Delight in transforming color fields, textures, and patterns into a collage inspired by the wonderful work of María Berrío's A Sunburst Restrained.

Museum educator and artist Chris Rusinko will share fun and easy ways to encourage experimentation and add visual complexity to your next collage. 

Materials

  • Five sheets of any paper 8.5x11, thick white paper is preferable
  • Watercolor pencils, watercolors, colored pencils, or pastels
  • Scissors and/or craft knife
  • Glue stick or liquid glue and a paintbrush
  • Pencil, pen, and eraser
