This program highlights short films rooted in explorations of relationships from the most familiar to the communal. Includes a rescheduled projection of Ten Bob in Winter (Lloyd Reckford, 1963, 16mm, 12 minutes); Perfect Image? (Maureen Blackwood, 1988, 30 minutes) that exposes stereotypical images of Black women and explores women's own ideas of self-worth; The Body Beautiful (Ngozi Onwurah, 1991, digital, 24 minutes); Blues is My Middle Name (Winta Yohannes, 1999, digital, 14 minutes), and Serious Tingz (Abdou Cisse, 2019, digital, 3 minutes).
