This film captures James Rosenquist, a leading figure in the pop art movement, sharing tales from his life in the art world in one of the final interviews before his death in 2017. The film follows the trajectory of his career from the early 1960s paintings depicting America’s consumer culture, to his interests in politics and the environment, to his late kaleidoscopic depictions of the universe and space. (Edgar Howard and Susan Wald, 2019, 48 minutes)
