Part of Warren Forman’s Artists at Work documentary series, The Weapons of Gordon Parks is an early record of Parks told in his own words before his success as a filmmaker (1967, 28 minutes). Followed by the HBO-produced documentary Half Past Autumn, an insightful and personal portrait narrated by Alfre Woodard, featuring interviews and reminiscences with Parks, his friends, collaborators, and family members.
