Celebrated French animator and master storyteller Michel Ocelot delivers four exquisitely crafted fairy tales in his latest compilation of short stories. Every night, a girl, a boy, and a projectionist meet in a movie theater to create and star in new and wondrous adventures featuring both human and mythical characters. Each story is rendered beautifully via Ocelot’s signature, richly textured silhouette style of animation. His whimsical characters include a young girl tenacious enough to battle monsters, a cat with a special gift who lives aboard a pirate ship, a young man gifted in the art of sorcery, and a shape-shifting princess. Prepare to be enchanted by tales that possess strong messages of loyalty, perseverance, honesty, and the transformative power of cinema. This film is being shown in conjunction with the Kids Euro Fest. (Michel Ocelot, France, 2016, 57 min.)
