Enjoy a free, live performance by Nataly Merezhuk, a violinist who has embraced the role of the violin in jazz following her extensive classical training.

Her interest in jazz has led her to perform in smaller acoustic ensembles and duos, with styles and sounds influenced by Svend Asmussen and Stephane Grappelli. Merezhuk was drawn to jazz for its improvisational nature, making her an extremely versatile musician and performer.

Originally from Russia, she holds a degree from Peabody Conservatory and performs with orchestras in the greater DC area, including the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Maryland Symphony Orchestra.
