Jabach, Michel Everhardt

Biography

Jabach came from a German banking family in Cologne. In 1635 he established himself in Paris as a director of East India company. He married into a French family and had a home built in Paris in 1950. His art collection numbered some 5000 prints and 100 paintings, as well as sculpture, tapestries, silver and objects d'art.
