Anderson, David Murray, Capt.

Biography

Captain Anderson served as Deputy Lieutenant and Justice of the Peace in E. Lothian. A Captain in the 8th Royal Irish Hussars, he was also a member of the King's Body Guard for Scotland (Royal Company of Archers). He ws educated at Wellington and the Royal Military College at Sandhurst. In 1908, he married Alice Helen Mary Cheese [d. 1938], herself a Justice of the Peace, daughter of Rev. Edward Cheese, Rector of Haughton-le-Skerne.
