Biography

The son of portrait painter, art dealer and conservateur Étienne François Haro [1827-97], Henri Haro followed in his father's footsteps. He studied painting first under his father, later entering the studio of Carolus Duran. Like François Haro, Henri devoted himself more to the selling of art than to painting.
