Biography

Mario Micossi is an Italian artist born and living in Artegna, near Udine, a village in northern Italy, one hundred miles north of Venice. He studied first at the Academy of Arts in Rome, then moved back to northern Italy where he has his studio in his ancestor's historical house. In 1963, his first exhibition was at the Weyhe Gallery in New York. [Gerhard Wurzer Gallery, Houston, TX]
