Overview: 19 works in which letters of the alphabet were used by artists in fanciful and analytical ways were shown in this installation. This was one of a series of collaborative Modern Lab installations exploring aspects of the National Gallery of Art's collections of modern and contemporary works in all media.

Organization: The exhibition was organized by the National Gallery of Art. Judith Brodie, curator and head of modern prints and drawings, was curator.
