Employee Viewpoint Survey
In 2013, the National Gallery of Art again participated in the government's Employee Viewpoint Survey. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) surveyed more than 376,000 permanent, federal employees, requesting their opinions on leadership, job satisfaction, and work-life issues. Government-wide survey results are not yet available.
At the Gallery, 766 employees were surveyed and 376 replied, for a response rate of over 49 percent. (The government-wide response rate was 48 percent.) The survey included 84 questions. Compared to 2012, the Gallery’s 2013 responses on 14 questions exceeded the "percent positive" average by five or more points.
