    Artwork

    The sculpture is a bust portraying a young child with a slight upturned gaze. The child has cherubic facial features and wears a textured garment detailed with intricate patterns along the front. The sculpture appears to be made of a dark bronze material. The hair is depicted in soft, flowing curls that frame the face. This bust is mounted on a round base that resembles marble. The pedestal provides an elevation to the child's bust, making it approximately at eye level with the viewer.
