This is a photograph of two images of the moon. The left and right images feature the full moon, displaying its detailed craters and surface features in shades of gray and white. The photographs are set against a deep red background with gold text. The text credits the lunar photographs to Warren De La Rue and notes that they were enlarged and published by Smith, Beck & Beck in London. The template suggests that these images were meant for stereoscopic viewing.

Two nearly identical black and white images of the lunar surface are encased in round openings in a rectangular, red holder. The edges of the holder are wrapped with tape or other material in a similar red color. The photographs are to either side of decorations and text in gold that create a vertical line up the center, between the photographs. Text along the top reads, “LUNAR PHOTOGRAPHS BY WARREN DE LA RUE F.R.S. Pres RAS.” An ornament like a downward pointing fleur-de-lis is printed beneath the text. An identical ornament pointing upward is placed above the bottom text which reads, “ENLARGED AND PUBLISHED BY SMITH BECK & BECK LONDON.” Each text block is enclosed by triangular shapes with inward curving sides and points that meet in the middle between the images of the moon.
