    This is a drawing of a figure in white holding a sign standing among others in a desolate landscape. The artwork depicts a robed figure in a war-torn field, reaching out towards a skeletal figure on the left, who appears to be Death, holding a scythe. The field is littered with bodies of soldiers. The robed figure holds a sign with the words "Humanité", "Fraternité", and "Charité" written on it. The scene is charged with the tension of the struggle between life, hope, and death.
