The image shows curved lines and geometric shapes arranged in an abstract composition. Two central shapes resemble stylized giraffes with elongated necks and small heads, with the bodies adorned with large green spots. Surrounding them are rounded blue dots arranged in semi-circular patterns. Red and brown leaf-like shapes and yellow flower-like circles are also included in the design.

Spotted Deer

W. E. Hentschel · c. 1935 · color pochoir on wove paper ·  Accession ID  2008.115.2467

The image depicts curved and angular shapes with soft lines and gradients creating depth. Two bird-like forms are suggested, perched on stylized branches and leaves. Curved elements align with the bird figures, while angular patterns below evoke a geometric garden or structured environment. The design hints at lush vegetation with delicate, cascading lines resembling leaves and circular patterns suggesting berries or flowers.
