The image shows a cottage from a side-on angle, with the entire facade in view. The horizon is not visible, as the focus is on the house and snowfall, rather than an expansive landscape. The rooftop creates a horizontal line in the composition. Brushstrokes are stylized and simplified, depicting swirling snow and tree branches with broad strokes. The color palette is muted yet warm, with shades of gray, brown, cream, and subtle blue on the roof, contrasting with the light gray snowy ground. Snowfall is shown with soft white splotches. The trees and house capture a wintry setting under a softly illuminated sky.
