    Artwork

The image depicts a street scene from a slightly elevated viewpoint. A set of stairs curves downwards to the left, leading into the scene. Buildings with angular rooftops line the horizon, and swirling clouds fill the sky. A street lamp stands tall in the slightly off-center foreground. Bold and sketchy pencil shades create texture on the buildings and clouds. The color palette is monochromatic, using various shades of grey. A man stands at the edge of the sidewalk, and another figure is visible further down the walkway. A building in shadow on the right side has a partially visible sign on its wall.
