The image shows a black and white etching of a riverbank scene. A figure on a horse is near the viewer, with the horse drinking from the river. Trees with dense foliage are above them. In the distance, an architectural structure and trees are visible. The horizon is obscured by tree branches at the top. The river flows through the middle with gentle ripples. The artwork is monochromatic with varying tones and line depth, giving it a timeless, rustic quality.

The image shows a viewpoint from below two large, gnarled trees. The horizon is obscured by elevated landforms, possibly hills covered in foliage. The trees are textured with detailed brushstrokes mimicking bark and needles. The sky is subtly shaded with fine lines. There are two figures, a woman and a child, standing and looking towards the distant landscape, creating a sense of depth. The color scheme is monochromatic, using black and gray tones against a light background.
