    Artwork

The image shows white swirling lines and loops on a dark background, creating an intricate pattern. The lines intersect and overlap to form a chaotic web. The movement of the lines resembles a whirling spiral or waves in a rough sea, conveying fluidity and motion.
Theodore Brenson, Untitled (White on Black Abstract), c. 1950, etching, Reba and Dave Williams Collection, Gift of Reba and Dave Williams, 2008.115.1038
