    Artwork

    This is a drawing of a scene featuring military troops and a crowd near a coastline. The illustration depicts a large group of mounted troops moving, with a large tower structure on the left and dockside posts to the right. The scene is busy, with many individuals on foot interacting. Children and adults are present, observing and accompanying the mounted figures, adding to the dynamic energy of the scene. The drawing has detailed line work typical of 19th-century illustrated periodicals, capturing the social and historical context of a military event with depth.
