The sculpture is a relief carving on a round medal featuring the profile of John Nance Garner, looking to the left. The subject appears to be a middle-aged to elderly man wearing a suit and tie, with neatly combed hair. The medal is made of bronze. Surrounding the profile are the words "JOHN NANCE GARNER" at the top and "32nd VICE PRESIDENT" at the bottom, all in bold capital letters. The texture of the bronze and its color contribute to a sense of depth and prominence to the relief, enhancing its visual impact against the smooth, flat background.
