The sculpture is a bust depicting a man with a full mustache and beard, looking straight ahead with a composed expression. The man has wavy, neatly combed hair and is dressed in a suit, which includes a jacket, waistcoat, and a tie or cravat. The sculpture is made of bronze, giving it a dark brown and greenish patina, suggesting age and weathering. The bust is life-sized, placed on a simple square base, and captures a detailed and realistic likeness of the individual, with attention to the texture of the hair and the fabric of the clothing. The background is a smooth, neutral gray.
