    Artwork

    The image shows six women standing closely together, most of their upper bodies visible. They are in a line, turning slightly toward the camera, and lifting their sleeves to show their left forearms. Their facial features and hair are mostly covered by headscarves of various patterns and plain designs. They are dressed in dark, modest clothing such as coats and dresses, with some wearing scarves around their necks. The women have a range of expressions, from smiling to neutral. The backdrop is plain with a window behind them, suggesting an exterior setting. One woman is holding a large plaid handbag in front. The setting appears candid, with some women looking at the camera while others glance at each other.
