    Artwork

    The image depicts a view from a pier looking out towards the sea. The horizon line is low in the composition, where the sea meets the sky. A few boats are seen scattered across the water. The artwork is rendered in gray tones with detailed pencil strokes that convey depth and texture. Closest to us, there is a walkway on the pier with a person walking away. In the distance, cranes and equipment are positioned on the pier. The sky is filled with billowy clouds, emphasizing the texture and dynamism of the scene.
