    The image is a portrait showing the upper torso of a person identified as "Lord Bacon." He is positioned facing slightly to the viewer's right, capturing head and shoulders. His facial features include a prominent nose, deep-set eyes, and a beard and mustache that are neatly presented. His hair is medium-length, a bit curly, and hidden under a large black hat. He wears a dark clothing ensemble, richly decorated with intricate patterns, and a wide, elaborate white ruff collar. There is no visible jewelry or objects being held. The background is plain, displaying only the details of the etching. At the bottom of the image, there is text providing information about Lord Bacon and detailing his death and commemorations. The text and portrait are centrally positioned on the paper with wide margins.
