    The image shows a half-length portrait of a man seated and facing slightly to his right. He has prominent eyes, a slightly open mouth, and wavy hair that falls to his ears. He is wearing a high-collared, buttoned jacket. There is no visible jewelry or other objects in his hands. The background is a textured oval frame, which isolates the bust from the plain surface surrounding it. The name “Ennio Quirino Visconti” and the title “Console della Repubblica Romana” are inscribed beneath the image alongside the name "Cecchini incise."
