The image shows a landscape scene from a low vantage point. The horizon is situated at around one-third from the top, with rolling hills and a cluster of trees marking its boundary. On the horizon, there are large trees and a house outlined against the sky. The brushstrokes are soft and fluid. The color palette consists of muted grays and browns. Closest to the viewer, several figures can be seen working in a field surrounded by stacks of hay. To the right, beyond the figures, a series of trees lead toward a silhouetted house. In the distance, more hills are faintly visible under a sky with soft textures.
