The image is a detailed portrait print of a man's upper body in a three-quarter view facing towards his right side. He has a mature, distinguished face with expressive eyes, a prominent nose, and neatly trimmed facial hair. The man's hair is wavy and reaches the nape of his neck. He wears a formal garment with a large white collar over a dark fabric, and a chain with a medallion around his neck. The oval-shaped frame around the portrait is inscribed with text. The background is plain with crosshatched shading.
