The image shows a street scene with a view down a wide avenue that stretches into the distance, converging at a large arch-like structure on the horizon. The horizon is located near the top center of the image, where the road and trees lining it become less distinct. The brushwork style is loose and sketch-like with visible, expressive lines, using a combination of darker and lighter shades to create texture. Brown and deep blue colors primarily define the foreground area, with figures on horseback prominently visible. Vibrant shades of reddish-brown color the trees flanking the road, while soft beige fills the path and distant structures. The color palette and rough strokes evoke a sense of dynamic movement and impression.
