Artist, Dutch, born c. 1610

The image shows a person standing in a slightly hunched position with their head tilted forward and their gaze directed downwards. The person has a prominent facial structure with barely visible features due to the angle and shadow. They are wearing a hat adorned with tall feathers and possibly fur-lined, as well as a loose-fitting, historical outfit. In their left arm, they hold a rectangular object and a round object is visible hanging on their right side. The background features minimalistic renderings of foliage and the ground, with an aged, textured look.
